Arrival and parking - Advent Market

To avoid any unnecessary parking-spot searching, we've gathered all the information you need to find your way around the Christmas market in Grossarl.

Grossarl is full of wonderful Christmas- and torchlights during the Salzburger Mountain Advent. Of course, the area is free of cars during this time. Here you will find tips how to arrive and where to park. Adaquate parking is available.

You can reach the town of Grossarl by bus or car.

After you have found a parking spot you can go to town by foot and spend time at the advent market. Finding the way is easy, just follow the wonderful fragrances and music. Do not miss the Salzburg Mountain Advent in Grossartal. Here you can book an accomodation for you winter holiday or a table in a restaurant: non-binding request. 

Buses have the possibility to drive to the entrance of the Advent market, in order to let the guests get off at the stop. During the boarding and disembarking of the guests, we ask the bus drivers to switch off the engine of the buses. Then the buses can drive to the large car park of the cabel car and park there. The bus driver can get to the Salzburger Bergadvent by foot in a few minutes.
